our STORY
The Twins “Mapasa” Hunew, Shei
Froottree events and catering was launched in 2013 by the twins Adrian Manyusa & Michael Manyusa following the success of their events and catering business aboard the Tereza Joanne boat in London Docklands.
Born in Malawi they moved to the UK along with their parents who were diplomats at the Malawian embassy in the late 1980’s.
“Having lost our mother at the age of 13 and our father before we turned 18, life was not easy for us.
Our drive and determination has allowed us to achieve so much and now we can go back to our roots.”
20 year's experience
With over 20 year's experience in the industry our skills both in the kitchen and front of house is second to none. Adrian is a self taught master of culinary and imaginative arts.
Michael has great managerial and customer service skills along with his charisma and can do attitude this compliments the duo or in their native language “amagwila nchito bwino”.
Since 2015 we have been involved in our step mothers children's orphanage “Ellen Mai Guru Trust”.
In 2019 we were appointed as trustees of the charity.
Froottree is proud to donate 10% of its profits to this charity.
